The Brief

Space
Celebrate 90 years of the Pilot's Watch collection and immerse guests in the world of IWC pilots, past, present and future. The brief called for something built on IWC's spirit of human endeavour, the same restless drive that's carried the brand from cockpit to spacecraft, delivered across one night in the MCA's Quayside Room during Vivid Sydney.

Time Flies
Inside the Museum of Contemporary Art, opposite Circular Quay, SUBVRT built a room that held its own against Vivid Sydney glowing right outside the windows. Smoke and blue light set the scene, part Le Petit Prince, part something more future-facing, tying together 90 years of Pilot's Watch heritage with IWC's next chapter in space. Guests and media mixed easily in a space made for lingering, cinematic enough to stop conversation, comfortable enough to keep it going all night.

Touch Down
Guests settled in fast, and stayed that way — plates cleared, glasses topped up, conversation running long past the point where anyone was checking the time. The room did exactly what it was built to do: comfortable enough that guests felt at ease browsing the pieces on display, several leaving having found their next watch. Everyone left in high spirits, already asking when the next one would be.
